A new bar and restaurant is slated for a vacant spot in Edgehill Village.

Sisters Alexis and Britt Soler (part of the team behind East Nashville’s Bar 308) have plans to open a new concept called Old Glory in a roughly 2,000-square-foot space behind Taco Mamacita. The bar is slated to go into an old laundry facility that hasn’t been in use in recent years, said Britt Soler.
Under law, the bar will offer some food, but Soler said the focus will definitely be the drinks, including craft cocktails along the style that Bar 308 is known for. She said to expect a different vibe, though, with Old Glory, whose name is a nod to the Civil War-era American flag.
“We want to do a solid classic menu,” said Soler. “The space kind of lends itself to that, that Americana theme. It’s a really old space but hasn’t been touched pretty much since it was used as old laundry facility.”
The duo signed a lease on Friday, and plans to open in the fall if renovations go according to plan, Soler said.
