Nashville Ranked Top City for High-Wage Job Growth

A new report released by Forbes took a look at the 70 largest labor markets in the country and found that Nashville is the city with the most high-wage job growth since 2011.

Larger W Hotel Planned in Gulch; Luxury Apartments Nixed

The W luxury hotel planned for the Gulch will be larger, with roughly 350 rooms and a rooftop bar, but residential units are no longer planned. Under new plans, the W hotel would include a rooftop bar, a music venue and an amenity deck. There’s also space for specialty restaurants.

Butcher Shop Slated for The Nations

A self-proclaimed old school butcher shop and grocery will open in The Nations by year’s end.

Two former Porter Road Butcher employees, Wesley Adams and Patrick Davidson, announced they plan to open Bare Bones Butcher in The Phoenix on 51st.
